Products - Casting
Sand Casting

Sand casting is used to make large parts (typically Iron, but also Bronze, Brass, Aluminum). Molten metal is poured into a mold cavity formed out of sand (natural or synthetic). The processes of sand casting include patterns, sprues and runners, design considerations, and casting allowance.

Centrifugal Casting
Centrifugal casting as a category includes Centrifugal Casting, Semi-Centrifugal Casting and Centrifuging.

Centrifugal Casting

In centrifugal casting, a permanent mold is rotated about its axis at high speeds (300 to 3000 rpm) as the molten metal is poured. The molten metal is centrifugally thrown towards the inside mold wall, where it solidifies after cooling. The casting is usually a fine grain casting with a very fine-grained outer diameter, which is resistant to atmospheric corrosion, a typical situation with pipes. The inside diameter has more impurities and inclusions, which can be machined away.

Investment Casting
Investment casting, lost wax casting process is used to make precision parts that may not need further machining. In ancient times this was used to make jewelry, hence the term investment.

A wide range of Carbon Steels, Low and High Alloy Steels, Stainless Steels, Duramet, Agronite, Hast Alloy, Monel, Aluminum & Alloys, Copper & Alloys, Nickel, Cobalt & Chromium based Super Alloys

Advantage:

arrow Intricate and complex shape & size can be easily Cast will freedom of design.
arrow An excellent surface finish and high degree of "as Cast" dimensional accuracy can be obtained.
arrow In general, components weight from 250 grams to 70 Kgs can be cast by this process
arrow The process gives a product which is essentially a near net shape wherein machining is either totally eliminated or reduced to a minimum.
arrow Accurate reproduction of fine details e.g slots, holes and case lettering is achieved.
